Licensing Your HR3 Product

Your payroll license relates to the base settings of your database and the companies that are contained within. These settings are normally decided at the time of purchase and include information such as:

  • Primary company registration details (name, address, contacts etc.).
  • Product level (payroll or payroll Lite).
  • The number of employees licensed in a financial year.
  • Additional modules purchased (e.g. MultiUser, hr, whs, kiosk etc).
  • Additional registered companies (name and ABN).

Within your database, these settings are governed by activation keys. As the needs of your company changes, you may require changes to your license, e.g. additional employees, modules or companies. These changes may require new activation keys. There are two types of activation keys within payroll, Company License Keys (CLK) and Product License Keys (PLK).

Accessing the Security License Screen

  1. From the Navigator go to Security | User Maintenance.
  2. In the Security window select the License node on the left hand side.
  3. The right hand pane displays four tabs which relate to licensing. These are described next.
