Managing and Maintaining your Database

Within the HR3 system there are various maintenance tasks that you can perform to manage and maintain your database. These allow you to:

• Backup your data
• Restore your data to a particular point in time
• Rebuild search files
• Remove obsolete data.

To access these maintenance functions:

1. In Navigator click Tools
   The Tools node will expand
   
2. Choose from the following maintenance functions:
• Backup database
• Restore database
• Import
• Housekeeping
