Tasks
Viewing or Amending Tasks:
- Select the Tasks node for the employee.
The Tasks screen will open, showing the details of any existing tasks. - To create a new task click on the Add New button.
The Tasks screen will appear. - Complete the following fields as required:

Wizard |

Subject | Enter a subject for this task. This will appear on a task report or on the reminder window. | Step 11 of the Employee Creation Wizard - "Tasks and Photo" Tasks section |
Due Date | Enter the date the task is due, or click on the Browse button to select it from a pop-up calendar. This date can be used to filter the employee tasks report. | |
Priority | Select the priority of this task. An icon will be displayed in the list of tasks for that employee, such as for high or for low. | |
Reminder | If you wish to be reminded about this task at a future date, enter a date and time for the reminder. At the specified date and time, a reminder window will appear on your desktop. If payroll is not running at the specified time, the reminder will show the next time the program is run. | |
Home |
Enter any additional notes relating to the task. This Text Editor allows you to embed pictures, tables, bullet points, etc. within the Notes document. |

Attachments |
You can drag and drop items such as reports or an employee file into this area for ease of access. To do this:
Double click the report shortcut at any time to run it. |

Category | You can categorise tasks to help identify them in reports. Select a category from the drop-down list. To create a new category select <<Add New>> from the list. | Step 11 of the Employee Creation Wizard - "Tasks and Photo" Tasks section |
Task Complete | Click the Task Complete Button once the task has been done. | |
Assign To |
To assign the task to another employee:

Owner | Click the Owner button to go to the owner of the task. This is useful if you do an F3 Search for a specific task - when you open the task this tells you the Owner name, and then allows you to open the Owner's master file. |
4. Click Apply to save the changes.
