Leave History

The leave history screen provides an audit trail for leave taken by this employee and allows editing of some details which may have been entered incorrectly. A report version of this data is available in the Employee Enquiry section, and a printable version is available in System Reports | Leave Reports.

Viewing an Employee's Leave History:

  1. Once the employee file is open, select the Leave History node on the left.
    Leave history details are displayed on the right.
  2. Double click any Leave entry to edit it in a pop-up screen.
  3. Field Explanation
    Start Date Enter the start date for the leave. This can be edited here.
    Finish Date Enter the finish date for the leave. This is the last working day of the employee's leave (not the date they returned to work). When creating a new payrun, if an employee has a leave finish date which is later than the period end date of the payrun, they will be automatically filtered out of the payrun. This can be edited here
    Leave Reason This indicates the reason the leave was taken. You can edit this information if required.
    Hrs/Units This is the number of hours (or units) of leave taken. If this information has been incorrectly entered, you must adjust it through the payrun leave screen
    Amount The amount is the product of hours x rate, and is the total gross value of the leave taken. If this information has been incorrectly entered, you must adjust it through the payrun leave screen.
    Memo If a memo was entered when the leave was processed, it will be stored here. If this information has been incorrectly entered, you must adjust it through the payrun leave screen
